J.D., 1978, Hofstra University School of Law
Admitted to the Bars of New York; the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; the U.S. Court of Military Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. From 1979 until joining the Touro Law Center, he was a sole practitioner specializing in the areas of foreclosure and bankruptcy law. A strong supporter of Pro Bono representation Professor Rubinstein is an active participant in the Nassau Suffolk Law Services Bankruptcy Clinic as well as a member of the Board of Managers of the Suffolk County Bar Pro Bono Foundation. He has been named as the Pro Bono Attorney of the Month by the Suffolk County Bar Association three times.
