Dorothy Hughes - Adjunct Professor of Law

Dorothy Hughes is a senior trial attorney with Brooklyn Defender Services. She began her legal career as a criminal trial lawyer with the Legal Aid Society of New York City, then went on to work in private practice, where she focused on criminal and family cases, and later represented victims of domestic violence in matrimonial and family court matters. She is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College and received her J.D. from Touro Law Center.
