Oscar Michelen attended New York Law School and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1985. He was graduated magna cum laude and served as Research Editor on the New York Law School Law Review. He is a partner at Cuomo LLC, a litigation boutique with offices in Manhattan and Mineola where he specializes in employment law and commercial litigation in both Federal and State courts. Mr. Michelen has also been admitted to practice in various states around the country for specific litigation matters as both trial counsel and as an expert witness on a variety of legal topics. He was an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School and Touro Law School. In addition to his regular practice, he also handles cases of wrongful conviction, having exonerated 7 people in 6 separate cases over the past 12 years. He is fluent in Spanish, having been born in the Dominican Republic.
