1L Grisell Hernandez is Recipient of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Diversity & Inclusion Summer Legal Internship
April 30, 2012Grisell Hernandez, a first-year, full time student, is a recipient of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Diversity & Inclusion Summer Legal Internship.
“This is the first time a Touro Law student has earned this distinguished honor,” said Margarett Williams, Asst. Dean of Career Services. “It is a very impressive honor and a great opportunity for Grisell to gain excellent hands-on experience this summer. We are all proud of her achievements.”
The Bristol-Myers Squibb paid summer internship program was created for law students who are interested in experiencing the practice of law within a corporate law department. The company’s goal is to offer valuable career development opportunities to law students by providing client- and customer-focused assignments under the supervision of various members of our legal staff.
Recipients of this internship must have excellent academic credentials and communication skills and possess outstanding interpersonal skills. Eight qualified students will be placed in various areas of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Law and Compliance & Ethics Departments based on their academic background and perusal interest.
