February 14, 2011Central Islip, NY – After an extensive interview process, Gillian Ballentine-Alman has been hired as staff attorney in the Senior Citizens Law Program at Touro Law Center working with Denise Marzano-Doty and Judith Lespinasse, representing elders in Suffolk County.
Through the Senior Citizens Law Program at Touro Law Center, Suffolk County residents 60 and over receive comprehensive legal services by licensed attorneys, without charge. After graduation from law school, Gillian accepted a position at the Legal Aid Society of Rockland County where she served as a staff attorney in the Juvenile Rights unit, representing children in family court proceedings. We are very fortunate to have lured her away from Rockland County and redirected her talents to the other end of the age spectrum.
