Touro Law Center Honors Program

The Touro Law Center Honors Program offers special opportunities to those students showing high academic achievement, strong written and oral communication skills, evidence of intellectual curiosity and engagement, and the motivation to participate in a challenging academic experience.

Applications for first-year students who began their studies in the fall semester are due during the spring semester of the first year.

INTRODUCTION

The Touro Law Center Honors Program offers approximately twenty to twenty-five exceptional students per class year an enriched comprehensive law school experience. Students in the Honors Program will participate in enhanced academic, experiential, and social opportunities as part of a community of student-scholars.

Both full- and part-time students who began their studies in the fall semester and have completed their first year at Touro Law Center at the end of the Spring semester are eligible to participate. Spring start students who have completed one academic semester of study will have the opportunity to apply for the program at the end of the fall semester. Students who are selected for the Honors Program after two full academic semesters will continue in the Program until their graduation from the Touro Law Center, provided they continue to meet the selection criteria.
