This course explores principles of insurance law and the rules by which legislative, administrative, and judicial bodies seek to promote, scrutinize, and regulate insurance companies. It examines also how the rules governing enforcement and inter-pretation of insurance contracts differ from those relating to other types of contracts. (No prerequisite.)
