Veterans and Servicemembers Rights Clinic - LAWN881

This clinic addresses the heightened need for legal assistance to current and former members of the military service. Students will work with veterans and active duty soldiers on a range of issues, including reemployment rights, discrimination, education and medical benefits, discharge review, assisting soldiers called to active duty and providing legal help to residents of the Northport VA Hospital’s long-term care facility. The clinic includes a 3-hour weekly seminar and a minimum of 12 hours/week of clinic work. (No prerequisite.)
