Journal RGE
Membership
Founded in 2005, the Journal of Race, Gender, and Ethnicity is a student-run online publication that publishes scholarship focusing on legal issues affecting race, gender, and ethnicity. The Journal provides its members with the opportunity to hone their research and legal writing skills, as well as polish their knowledge of substantive law. Serving on a scholarly journal distinguishes a student and may enhance the student’s career opportunities.
The Journal mandates academic excellence among the Touro students seeking admission via a writing competition. Students interested in legal issues concerning race, gender, and ethnicity, and who seek to improve the intellectual climate of the school, are invited to compete for membership on the Journal of Race, Gender, and Ethnicity. Students are eligible to participate in the writing competition after successfully earning twenty-two academic credits, and must have a minimum 2.8 GPA or have received a grade of B or better in Legal Process I and II.
