FlexTime JDSM Program - Manhattan Campus
Touro Law's FlexTime JD Program is offered at Touro University's ultra-modern Cross River Campus at 3 Times Square, in the heart of New York City. This unique program is designed to accommodate the schedules of students who might typically enter a part-time law program but need even more flexibility for work or family obligations. The program provides increased flexibility through uniquely tailored combinations of online and in-person instructional components. The program will provide students with maximum flexibility while maintaining a rigorous course of study that will prepare them for the realities of law practice, and will do so using the latest in evidence-based teaching and learning tools. FlexTime students will be able to complete the requirements for their JD in four years with in-person class requirements on Sundays only.
As part of the FlexTime JD Program, classes are offered in a hybrid model which requires students to attend classes on Sundays only for the Fall and Spring semesters. Students must attend one summer semester, requiring Sunday classes as well. The remainder of classwork is completed asynchronously, allowing students to complete the work when and where it fits their individual schedules throughout the week.
While it is a unique program, and the only Sunday-only in-person required program in New York, it is also fully integrated into the fabric of the law school. FlexTime students have the opportunity to become involved in every aspect of law school life including clinics, pro bono activities, student organizations, and honor societies including Law Review, Moot Court, and TAPS.
